Rides - Helene
- spring afternoon ride April 26th or May 2nd. About 1 hour with a ice cream stop afterwards. Let's take a poll during the meeting so that we can get as much board attendance as possible. It would be fun to do it together! Plan would be up the Seymore Valley Trailway to Seymore Dam. About a 45min flat paved easy ride, no traffic. Start at the End of the Line General Store. End there for snacks and ice cream after.

Who wants April 26: Who wants May 2nd:
- Date set for Christmas lights ride December 12, 2026

City of North Vancouver - Rhonda/Easton
- Meeting with Staff - Held in January
- Casano Loutet Bridge
- Casano-loutet overpass is on schedule for a July opening.
- they would like HUB to participate in the grand opening this summer
- Grand Blvd
- the piece of grand boulevard west between the parks *will* be closed and turned into part of the park. They plan to have it open at the same time as the overpass.
- probably start construction there in April
- Chesterfield & Midtown Connector
- chesterfield will be the next focus, once the 17th/grand boulevard/casano-loutet segment is done.
- midtown connector will need input from the multimodal network plan, which is connected to the official community plan update, which is gearing up to start.
- the network plan will start public engagement next year; it's currently in internal planning phase.
- Jones Overpass
- connections from the green necklace to the Jones overpass will be upgraded, and eventually to the upper levels greenway once that's built. The Jones overpass itself isn't getting upgraded because that's MOTT property.
- King's Mill
- more segments open; still under construction. The current block of the separated bike lane should be finished in June, and the next block later.
- spirit trail has connection to a small amount of waterfront on the east side of the park. The rest of the spirit trail along the waterfront will be another couple of years.
- Fell overpass at 1st
- widening the east side is in final stages, and will be done in the spring.
- 2nd & Fell near the creek will have construction and a bike route detour in spring/summer while Lonsdale Energy installs a heat transfer station.
- Cap mall
- no info sessions or meetings until 2027. They are considering connections to other bike routes.
- Trails & Moodyville
- info session coming up in March (? easton please double check this, your notes were typed) and they're looking at spirit trail connections there.
- Spirit Trail
- Section at Park & Tilford is the last gap in that route within cnv
- Wayfinding improvements
- are in planning, and they'll do the shipyards area first because of all the visitors coming off the seabus. They're working on a branding refresh for the wayfinding signs.
- We should make sure our priority map is up to date when the election happens, so when the new council is setting priorities we're ready.
- 3rd/Keith/Marine/Bewick Intersection - connection to West Third (towards Cap Mall)
District of North Vancouver - Duncan/Stephen/Stewart
- Regular meeting with DNV staff
- If Queens Road get's funding confirmed in April, **construction go ahead in summer 2026.**
- TransLink Rapid Implementation = 100% funded!
- A bike route geographically needs to go along queens in front of Delbrook. There is no alternate route.
- A solution to not be on West Queens is to build a big bridge - possibly bigger than McCartney Creek on Spirit Trail. Would need to build a crossing over Mosquito Creek.
- No option through William Griffith
- A bike route does not need to go along Queens in front of District Hall.
- Harry Jerome will be open expect summer 2026 - which will ease load on Delbrook
- Mtn Hwy - Arborlynn connector - coming Summer 2027 or 2028.
- Part of a plan for Mtn Hwy includes some widening for cars, and some swapped downhill car lanes to 2, uphill car lanes to 1.
- LLM council digests for CNV, DNV, and DWV
- Join the BetterNorthShore.ca chat server (Discord) to get them weekly. https://discord.gg/SA23Vxdsft

District of West Vancouver - Peter S/Mike C
- A more detailed list of 12 suggested improvements to the wayfinding signage in the vicinity of the north end of the Lions Gate Bridge between Capilano Road and Taylor Way was sent to DWV staff on 21 March.
- This week, I received a question about bicycle lockers on the North Shore from the Chair of the DWV Environment Committee. In response, I sent him the TransLink map showing locations of bicycle lockers in Metro Vancouver, which included those at Phibbs Exchange and at the Sea Bus terminal. I also included an excerpt describing bike lockers from the HUB website. I suggested that there may be new bike lockers installed when plans for a BRT terminal at Park Royal North and the upgrading of the Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal are implemented.
